While at Royal Trust Ann was responsible for helping to raise the internal profile of a newly appointed president from Royal Bank. Starting with an employee cross-Canada road show, the initiative expanded to the development and execution of a new reward and recognition program, a new employee newsletter (which won an IABC Award of Excellence), the introduction of weekly breakfasts with the president and a quarterly on-line question and answer session with management. These efforts quickly helped the president gain the trust of employees and allowed him to reshape the company with grassroots support.
